Alpha Chi Omega's history is rooted in generosity, compassion and commitment to our sisters and the greater good. In support of our national altruism, Alpha Chi Omega members are dedicated to raising awareness and educating others about domestic violence.
Domestic Violence Awareness: The Beta Nu Chapter supports raising awareness and educating others about Domestic Violence Awareness and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation making a lasting impact on their community and women across the country.
Alpha Chi Omega Beta Nu is proud to partner with the Lauren McCluskey Foundation in honor of Lauren McCluskey, a former University of Utah student. Through advocacy, education, and fundraising, we are dedicated to raising awareness of relationship violence and empowering college communities to create safer environments. Our commitment to domestic violence prevention drives us to inspire change and transform campuses into places where safety, respect, and support thrive.
Lauren's Legacy
Lauren’s Legacy Month brings our community together in a meaningful, month‑long initiative to honor Lauren McCluskey’s memory and support the Lauren McCluskey Foundation.
Throughout the month, we will host a series of events designed to raise awareness, funds, and connection around healthy relationships. From the high-energy fun of Lyre Lipsync, to the impactful outreach of Honk for Healthy Love, to the sweet community moments of Love Should Be Sweet, each event invites connection, conversation, and support for the message that love should always be safe, respectful, and kind.

All of these efforts culminate in the Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala which is the signature evening that anchors our campaign and channels donations toward prevention and survivor support. We hope you’ll join us in whatever ways you can this month to raise your voice for change and help further the Foundation’s impact.
